INTERPRT’s exhibition room at Arts Catalyst’s exhibition “Conflict Minerals” presented our long term research into the West Papua conflict, from the political and military violence committed by the Indonesian state in the 1970s that created the condition for large scale environmental violence through industrial mining, pollution and land grabbing. As part of the exhibition we produced a video evidence file on Grasberg mine based on remote sensing analysis.
