For the Bergen Assembly Cross Courses at Bergen School of Architecture (BAS), INTERPRT facilitated a counter-mapping programme based on the Truth And Reconciliation Commissions in Sápmi.

This involved discussing a critical theory and history of environmental perspectives, as well as other examples of TRC in Norway and beyond. Students of this Cross Course conducted group work by investigating historical Sámi and Norwegian maps and the consequences of Norwegianization policies. The sessions also included studying spatial information and legal cases of land rights, and the groups developed a critical analysis of the proposed TRC reconciliation measures regarding the environmental and land rights.
